I’m Fred Nixon, Owner of Foothills Security and Technology. I’ve been in the electrical business since the early 80’s, first with the US Army and then as an account manager working in Government Sales of technology. I’ve worked in Atlanta twenty+ years in both the wholesale and trade side of low voltage. At this stage of my career I am more of a craftsman than installer, not willing to cut corners or opt for the easy. Any work that Foothills Security & Technology performs will always be to the highest standard.

I’m licensed and insured in both GA and NC and have extensive experience in residential, commercial, equestrian and industrial in the following platforms: Audio/Video (surround sound and distributed A/V), Access Control, Burglar/Fire Alarm/Suppression, IP Cameras and HD monitoring, Data/WiFi/Telco, and Smart Home.
